Meetup with Mr. Green Trading Africa Kenya Ltd.
Last Week Eliye Consults Team and Teddy Obiero had the pleasure of visiting Mr. Green Trading Africa Kenya Ltd. a social enterprise that is transforming the recycling industry in Kenya.
We learned about their innovative model of sustainable waste management and collection, which empowers waste pickers and creates circular economy solutions. Engaging discussions unfolded on household waste collection and separation. We also discussed potential partnerships and opportunities for collaboration.
We were impressed by their state-of-the-art facility, where they process plastic waste into high-quality pellets that can be used to make new products. We witnessed the entire recycling process, from the separation point to the final product. We were amazed by the impact they are making on the environment and the society, by reducing plastic pollution, creating jobs, and improving livelihoods. We thank Mr. Green Trading Africa Kenya Ltd. for hosting us and for sharing their inspiring vision.
